After months of user testing and customer feedback, we are excited to release new updates to the OWN IT App that will help you better track and understand changes in your health and wellness progress.
Wellness Progress Visualized
One of the most exciting updates is the addition of two new “Wellness Progress” views which visually represent wearable data from Whoop, Oura, or CardioMood fitness trackers along with OWN IT habit adherence to show improvements or decreases in your overall wellness across a 10-day & 30-day time horizon.
Not every day is an up day, trend views allow visual progress of health and wellness gains overtime and not just impacted by a small decrease in HRV. Each provides a comprehensive snapshot of your wellness trends over time and help you better identify habits, behaviors, and routines that may be affecting your health.

Improvements to 1-on-1 Chat
Allows OWN IT Certified sports science training coaches to be available on demand to answer questions, assist with data interpretation and provide actionable insights for each individual athlete along their personalized health and wellness journey.

Get Back on Track Faster
For existing users who miss a day of HRV, you’ll only need 1 new day of wearable data to calculate a wellness score, whereas previously you needed 3 days of data. This update makes it easier to stay on top of your wellness progress, even if you miss a day of tracking.

We’ve made changes to the Today’s Insights button, which now takes you to video insights for the day. Previously, this feature was shown as “Today’s Wellness Video.”
New Recovery Insights
Other updates include a 4-day HRV trend, sleep data that shows your total sleep and % of time spent in regenerative sleep, and habit adherence for yesterday. If a controllable habit has 100% adherence from the previous day, the controllable icon will show as green.

This lets you easily view and take proactive steps to improve sleep quality in order to reach goals like 50% of time spent in Regenerative sleep stages (REM & Slow Wave) and catch 3-day decreases in HRV that may need further attention.
Easy Troubleshooting
To allow for faster troubleshooting, Page Sync Data and Wearable Sync Data are both displayed in the OWN IT App and show the last time the OI data had a successful sync and when we had a successful data pull from the wearable API.

Faster User Experience
Finally, we’ve made some speed and reliability improvements when marking a habit as done on the track screen, which should make it easier to stay on top of your daily wellness routine.
To help you get up to speed with these updates, we’ve also included a “What’s New” pop-up that will give you a small overview of the changes when you open the app for the first time after the download.
We hope you enjoy these updates and that they help you better understand your wellness progress over time. As always, we welcome your feedback and suggestions for future updates.
